Mud Products

Mud Australia porcelain is a handmade product and should be treated with care during use. In the dishwasher, make sure items are not touching. To avoid scratches on the glaze ideally your porcelain will either be stored in plate racks or use linen/felt between each item.

Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven / from oven to cold bench) is likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your porcelain. Always put cold items onto wire racking when placing in a hot oven. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the handmade nature of the product and should be embraced. If sold direct we will replace breakages and faults notified within 14 days of shipping/purchase.

Cutipol

Cutipol Cutelarias are a Portuguese family run company that have been making quality cutlery and serving pieces for three generations. Cutipol is made from high grade stainless steels and resin and is dishwasher safe, however, to ensure a long life please make sure the cutlery is completely dried at the end of the cycle. Ideally, hand dry with a soft cloth and store in a dry place. Extra care should be taken with the higher grade 420 steel knife blades as they are less resistant to oxidation.

Glassware

Our glassware is handblown in Japan, using the traditional Tsugaro Vidro technique.

Whilst our glassware can be cleaned in the dishwasher, as a handmade product we recommend that it be hand washed with a neutral detergent. We ask that you treat this delicate glassware with care and avoid stacking. Due to the inherent nature of its production there may be slight variations in thickness and colour.
