Our Byron Bay store is open
We’re delighted to share with you our new Byron Bay oasis. An expansive, double fronted store, full of natural light and a leafy outlook.
The design of the interior, a collaboration with DesignOffice builds upon the language established in Mud Australia’s stores internationally while also reflects its new coastal home. Vitsoe shelving systems showcase the entire range of hand-made porcelain. Custom timber joinery by JP Finsbury, designed by DesignOffice, is beautifully contrasted by textured curtains. Clustered Mud Australia pendant lights create a chandelier effect. The hero piece is a striking, large round table by Coco Flip with a custom Five Mile Radius terrazzo top, made with Mud Australia waste porcelain pieces and upcycled concrete.
You can find us at Habitat, Byron’s newest neighbourhood located in the Arts and Industrial Estate. This environmentally thoughtful area blends solar panels, embedded energy networks and reused water.
I’m really happy to be opening our 10th store in Byron Bay. This is a beautiful and special part of Australia that means a lot to me and our family. Just being able to spend more time in the Northern Rivers area was a great incentive to open the store. Also, the Habitat development’s vision closely aligns with our company’s environmental and social values which made the process even easier.
