Showroom Manager (Full-time)

Mud Australia is recruiting a Showroom Manager to join its team in London.

Founded in 1994, we are a Sydney-based designer and manufacturer of porcelain tableware and home products, with a dedicated retail presence in Sydney, Melbourne, London, New York and Los Angeles.

Currently we are looking for an enthusiastic addition to our London team to fill the position of a Showroom Manager.

The Role

The Showroom Manager will manage the operation of the Mud Australia Store. The manager is responsible for providing leadership to the retail team in store, for retail sales performance and for maximizing retail profitability while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and operational performance. Working closely with the Global Retail Manager of Mud Australia, the Showroom Manager will also be responsible for upholding the high values of Mud Australia.

The Showroom Manager will also manage all UK online sales and work closely with trade clients in the design and hospitality industries. In addition to responsibility for domestic and Europe retail sales, the Showroom Manager will work closely with the Mud Australia team to develop, document and implement operating policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience.

The Individual will be motivated with an interest in design and all things creative, well presented, professional and engaging. The ability to work collaboratively and respectfully is an essential in joining the Mud team. Ideally the candidate will be experienced in retail management or similar roles.

The Showroom Manager’s performance will be assessed and rewarded by measuring the achievement of sales, customer service, wages, shrinkage, average sale, multi-rates and staff development objectives for each season.
