The Salted Caramel Set

This gift box features a Mud Australia's Jug Small, our Flared Bowl Small and Cutipol Long Drink Spoon, plus a jar of Trois Bon's salted caramel sauce to pour over ice cream or crepes.

The Caramel Pecan Set

This gift box includes our Square Platter Small in Steel and a Cutipol Long Drink Spoon to stir up an accompanying cocktail. As well as Trois Bon's signature caramelised organic Australian pecans sprinkled with sea salt.

A cocktail recipe for a lucky Dad

Ingredients
Champagne of Prosecco
Gin (chilled)
Elderflower syrup
Strawberry

Method
In a cocktail glass, mix 3 tbsp. Gin and 2 tbsp. elderflower syrup (ie. Belvoir brand). Then fill the rest of the glass with Champagne or Prosecco. For the garnish, place a strawberry on the edge of the glass.

Meet Trois Bon

Trois Bon came to life in 2011. Swiss-native Florian, living in Paris and a leather goods designer for Louis Vuitton, found himself in the enchanting south-east region of France during a weekend getaway. It was there, at a bustling market, that he stumbled upon a jar of salted caramel. “I was instantly hooked…,” he remembers.

Once the jar was empty, he searched for an alternative but couldn’t find one he liked. Unwilling to settle, Florian embarked on a cooking journey to recreate the sauce. Drawing inspiration from an old recipe from the Bretagne region, he meticulously refined and perfected his creation.

Sharing the results with his childhood friends Felix and Marcel back in their Swiss hometown of Schaffhausen, Florian remembers them devouring the contents in front of his eyes. “We decided then and there to try selling them at the local market”. It was a success and they sold out in just a few hours.

Today, Trois Bons’ products are available in 60 selected specialty stores all over Switzerland. Ten years fast forward, Florian has moved to Melbourne in 2020 with his Australian wife. He is now trying his luck with the local crowd. “We’re cooking our two products; ‘Salted Caramel’ and ‘Caramelized Pecans with Sea Salt’ in Collingwood, Melbourne with all Australian ingredients. We’re selling at farmers markets as well as a few selected retailers. So far people love it.”
